Tile Cleaning In Arizona
In this blog I discuss the cleaning step used for Tile Cleaning, Grout Restoration and Natural Stone Cleaning. The video discusses the difference between Acid based cleaning and Alkaline based cleaning as well as recommended sealing options. We will also discuss some optional services available.
Tile and Grout Cleaning Systems
Step 1: Move Required Furniture – this may vary on the level of service and the sealer option chosen.
Step 2: Pre-vacuum Tile
Step 3: Mask off and Protect – wood work and appliance (when using an acid based pre-spray)
Step 4: Pre-spray Tile – with either alkaline based or acid based, watch video to hear the benefits of the two and when I use each.
Step 5: Power Scrub Tile – with weighted floor machine which breaks down the soil film on the tile and grout.
Step 6: Hand Brush – heavily soiled grout lines for additional agitation.
Step 7: Pressure rinse and extract –High pressure rinse (900 psi) and immediate extraction to thoroughly flush soil and cleaning .
Step 8: Speed dry – high powered fan are left in cleaned areas to expedite drying of tile and grout
Step 9: Optional Tile and Grout Sealers – See video for a description of benefit of the three different sealers I offer.
Step 10: Final cleanup – this step will vary depending on the type of sealer used.
These are the 10 step to our restoration tile and grout cleaning. If you already have a sealed floor or are looking for a more basic level cleaning our Basic Tile Cleaning may be a good option for you. It includes all of the steps above except we do not: move furniture, use and acid prespray, hand brush grout, speed dry, or final buff. Sealer are not available on this package.
